Assisted with drafting letters to insurance companies, health care practitioners, and patients concerning insurance billing. Assisted in scanning medical records, including explanation of benefits, and organizing scanned records onto an online patient charts files in order to improve company efficiency.

  Organized library books in the correct location at the Saltzman Center library, filing new library books on a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and placing labels on each of the books. Walked through campus to timely fulfill the requirements of cross-campus deliveries, particularly to the Human Resources Center to file payroll sheets. Guided children attending summer camp off and on the bus and helping teachers obtain supplies necessary for their classes.

  Converted (via scanning and copying methods) constituent files and papers into PDF form on the Bluebird online database used by the New York State Senate. Took phone calls from constituents on a myriad of issues, including by helping them access unclaimed funds from the State Comptroller’s Office and unemployment assistance. Participated in community outreach events within the State Senate district, such as food drives, breast cancer screenings, and beach cleanups.
