We are "inactivating" our original consulting company. It has been a wild, 30+ year "ride" as a CCA and P.Ag. and as one of the first certified nutrient management consultants in the province of Ontario. As a consultant for both ASM & NASM and the Biosolids Lead in my role as an OMAFRA Environmental Management Specialist interacting with the MOE/MECP , I learned a "ton" about environmental management, especially soil amendments. This seemed to compliment my previous experience in crop protection and seed sales.I have chosen to NOT renew my certification as a Nutrient Management consultant, effective June 2024. It has been a 20-year journey and I am blessed to have worked with so many great farmers, generators of NASM, OMAFRA Environmental Mgmt staff and also with some 'interesting" MOE/MECP staff.I have a passion for 4R Nutrient Management and soil health management but am disappointed in the actual implementation of 4R and this will continue as long as it remains imbedded in the retail fertilizer/crop protection sector were bonuses on sales growth will continue to be the norm.
