  TimesTen was founded in 1996 and was the leading vendor of in-memory relational database (IMDB) technology. TimesTen provided extremely high-performance data management and application server caching solutions, focusing on telecommunications, financial services, and general enterprise applications. I was TimesTen’s first solution architect. Oracle Corporation acquired TimesTen in July, 2005.• Designed, developed, and conduced many proof of concept applications and customer demos using C, C++, and Java.• Managed technical sales opportunities for vital early wins for TimesTen, including Lucent, Ericsson, HP, Cisco, Alcatel, and Tekelec, resulting in millions in revenue. As part of Oracle, I continued sales consulting in large opportunities for the TimesTen product, including Dell ($750k in new revenue), HP ($2 million in new revenue), Sprint ($1 million in new revenue), and Cisco ($1.5 million in new revenue).• Helped customers architect complex technical solutions in extremely mission-critical environments such as telecom equipment. This included the design of highly available (HA) systems using database replication and hardware redundancy, and design and tuning of applications to provide extremely high performance (10,000 transactions per second and higher).• Developed courseware and conducted both introductory and advanced training sessions.• Developed and conducted pre-sales technical presentations and seminar slide sets to audience from the deeply technical developers to C-level executives.• Trained internal Oracle personnel on TimesTen using both live and web-based seminars, using my own slides.• Won “SC of the Quarter” and Club Excellence awards multiple times at both TimesTen and Oracle.   * Architected IaaS and PaaS Public Cloud solutions for production, business-critical customer applications, particularly Database as a Service.* Among my many projects, I designed and developed an auditing solution for the United States Treasury using In-Memory RDBMS Technology. In successful production since 2014, all checks printed by the US Treasury go through this code.
