      Unsung Hero Awards - Inspiring Voices Award NWG Network Apr 2018 After I submitted a detailed application, Kyran Peet won the Inspiring Voices Award recognising him as a young person who has inspired others to tackle child sexual exploitation. Kyran was supported by The Children's Society to report his experience to the police and bring his perpetrator to justice. Kyran went on to act as a media ambassador for the charity, to raise thousands of pounds and to give his time to projects helping other young people.

      CYP Now Awards - Leaving Care Award Children and Young People Now Nov 2017 This award marks the initiative which has done the most to help young people leaving care make a smooth move into adult life. My winning entry focused on a campaign which has persuaded one in three councils to exempt care leavers from paying council tax. The campaign is run by The Children's Society, working in partnership with local councils across the country to fulfil their legal obligation to care leavers until they are 25 years old.

Tyler's story was produced by Whiteboat TV for The Children's Society and Department of Health.
