      Direct the team of FX analysts responsible for managing AIG’s FX risk through the process of accumulating, analyzing, and reporting from both an AIG consolidated and local entity perspective. This includes recommendations to reduce FX risk thru asset/liability matching or hedge recommendations. Reports are prepared for Enterprise Risk Management, Local Controllers, and AIG Senior Management. Architect of an internal treasury FX reporting system (FLEX) created to manage AIG’s FX risk. AIG conducts business in over 140 countries and the internal system consolidates the FX exposures by accounting categories in accordance with FAS 52 reporting standards. The system features drilldown and report export functionality.Manage analysts responsible for publication of FX rates used to prepare AIG Financial Statements. The process is subject to External/Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley review. Architect of AIG’s FX Website which includes daily publication of over 140 FX rates and displays spot and P&L average rates. The FX rates are available in USD and Cross-Currency Reporting modules.Treasury FX subject matter expert assigned to create/test an FX risk management module in a Treasury workstation project with an external vendor (OpenLink). The infrastructure and system interfaces have been built and basic reporting is in production. The FX component of the project is approximately six months ahead of schedule.AIG FX subject matter expert assigned to a PricewaterhouseCoopers remediation team in 2005 to ensure AIG complies with FAS 52 Reporting. The team included PricewaterhouseCoopers international FX expert, AIG’s Office of Accounting Policy FX expert and AIG’s Assistant Treasurer to create and present FAS 52 Reporting as it applies to AIG at the annual AIG Controllers Conferences 2005 & 2006. The team included 5 managers and was responsible for producing over 50 Schedule D Statutory Reports annually.Manage bank asset/cash reconciliation group.Teamed with Ernst & Young to perform a SAS 70 review for AIG Investment AccountingLead implementation of two customized multicurrency, multi-basis general ledger system for Investment Accounting with a third party vendor (Dillon & Computron).Restructured the Accounting Department to meet new accelerated SEC reporting deadlines. Simplified reporting structure to support AIG’s acquisitions of large companies. Within two years, AIG purchased American General, Sun America, Twenty First Century and General Electric Companies. In the same period, SEC deadlines were shortened by two weeks. All of these challenges we met without incident.One of 10 “future leaders” chosen worldwide to work Project AIGIG to solve complex company issues and present a proposal to senior management which was implemented. Member of staff tasked with implementing a conversion to a multi basis accounting system PAM for Securities. Responsible for parallel testing for all the foreign portfolios and successful implementation of the PAM system.Performed a review of AIG Trust Services, Dublin, Ireland prior to the bank “going live”.
