  I teach piano, trombone and music theory. As a teacher I have a number of special interests:Piano - I love working with beginners of any age who seriously want to learn. I also enjoy working with the advancing player who may experience technical / physical difficulties with the instrument.Trombone/ brass: happy to work at all levels: I have developed some experience in working with complex difficulties eg dental problems (in my own case!) and issues such as 'focal dystonia'. Very happy to discuss possibilities with anyone faced with these issues.I also work as a piano accompanist, and as a freelance trombonist, offering tenor and alto trombone in all styles. Currently shore based after 6 years working full time on cruise ships (see separate profile).I have a special interest in the Emanuel Moor double keyboard piano. I am trustee of the Moor trust and currently custodian of the fully restored Bosendorfer-Moor Concert Grand as well as owning a Bosendorfer-Moor short grand. Over the next year I will be working on the long delayed project to adequately record and document these instruments. Show less
