Producing 3b+ PET containers and preforms for customers including Coca-Cola, Britvic & GlaxoSmithKline.• Reporting directly to the Financial Director and responsible for all direct procurement spend c£30m pa, supervision of 4 stores & procurement personnel.• Improved vehicle utilisation by the introduction of 44T / 6 axle fleet to maximise vehicle payload and volume capacity, 52 to 60 pallet footprint. • Delivered savings of £360K pa by converting from ‘one-way’ corrugated to ‘reusable’ plastic layer pads, also included building an onsite washing facility.• Introduced market innovation by developing the Dropbox. The UK site is based at Capenhurst, near Chester, with an Opex spend of £55m pa and a current Capex spend c.£30m pa, dependent upon programme. • Reported directly to the UK Site Controller and responsible for all Opex and Capex spend. • Implemented & developed a new Risk Management Policy & Procedure for Energy & Utilities, including the use of a consultant, for market overview and trading. Site Spend c£20m pa.• Developed a procedure to ensure site compliance with Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) Site Liability c£1.4m pa.• Consolidated of site activity to a Single Source Contract for ASW and Permanent Recruitment. Annual Turnover <£5m. Directing process for improved SLA & KPI reporting. • Developed a new Strategy for the supply of Safety Cases to comply with ONR requirements.
