      - Planned, trained and executed Protective Services Detail, transportation and security measures to ensure the safety of assigned distinguished visitors throughout their multiple appointments locations during their visit to Kabul, Afghanistan. Some of the visitors included Senior Executive Service officials such as: the Secretary of Defense, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Commander United States Central Command, the Director of the Defense Logistics Agency and many more. - As the unit Contracting Officer Representative, prepared, submitted for approval and monitored performance of the technical requirements of all contracts required for the proper operation of the Joint Visitors Bureau, this included contracts for ten up-armored SUVs for the transportation of distinguished visitors, and contracts for the cleaning and maintenance of the facilities assigned to the Bureau.       - Directed, coordinated, and oversaw the employment of all resources within Wounded Warrior Battalion-East in order to accomplish its mission. To fulfill its responsibilities, the Operations Officer collected input from, and ensured coordination with, multiple military and civilian agencies entrusted with the care, rehabilitation, supervision and transition of Recovering Service Members (RSMs). The Operations Officer also provided planning, synchronization, and control of the sections and companies within the Battalion while conducting operations.- The Operations Officer ensured participating RSMs were fully prepared to transition to civilian life after military service. This included ensuring RSMs had a realistic plan to be followed during transition, part of this plan requires a personal budget, vocational questionnaire, civilian and federal resume, as well as being fully aware of employment, educational, and entrepreneurial opportunities available to veterans. In coordination with private and public agencies and enterprises, the Operations Officer oversaw the attendance of RSMs to multiple Job Fairs, Transition Seminars and vocational information sessions in order to ensure a smooth transition from service member to veteran.
