  Fred Meyer, a division of the larger Kroger company, has stores located in the Pacific Northwest. Fred Meyer provides a one stop shop experience, where customers can get groceries, clothes, home goods, and more without having to run around to multiple stores.As a front end clerk, you are expected to provide excellent customer service. Your tasks primarily consist of pushing carts back to the store, bagging groceries for customers, and cleaning the store periodically. The latter includes sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and taking out garbage. Parcels are required to provide carry out services for customers who need help with their groceries.As a cashier, your primary job is to provide excellent customer service. Since you will probably be the last person a customer interacts with, much responsibility lies on you to make sure their entire shopping experience was pleasant. You must retain knowledge about product codes and store promotions, while also able to be fast and friendly. Knowledge of WIC checks, regular checks, cash amounts, and running credit cards is mandatory.As a grocery clerk, you are expected to keep all shelves stocked with up to date merchandise. You will be required to carry or pull large, heavy loads to all parts of the grocery department. Keeping track of orders, providing customer service, and handling phone calls from customers away from the store are all necessary parts of the job.In the ecommerce department, your jobs include two major components. As a picker, you are expected to pick for nine different orders at a time on the floor of the store. This includes health and beauty, groceries, produce, frozen items, and refrigerated items. You are expected to reach a certain pick time per item and accuracy and then deposit the groceries in their according section in the back room ready to be staged.   Crazy Mike's Video was one of the last hold out video rental stores in Bellingham, WA. Having been around for decades, the store finally closed in 2018, but its' impact on the community is still felt.Crazy Mike's employees would be expected to check movies in and out of the store, provide assistance to customers when asked about movie options, keep the store looking clean, stock shelves after returning movies, and be a generally friendly presence.

Students can go here to get help in establishing their account, troubleshoot issues pertaining to student accounts or connectivity, Canvas, student email, and registering for classes.Fairly new to the Help Desk is 3D printing capabilities available for free to students and faculty. It is well known as a trustworthy, friendly, and professional place for customers to receive oil changes.Performed oil changes on first come, first serve vehicles from 8:30-5. Primarily located on hoods, required to guide vehicles in over the pit, perform light checks, check automatic transmission fluid and provide oil pre-check if necessary.Fill up all fluids, check air filters, check tire pressure and vacuum. Complete paperwork for customer to view after services. Replace and recommend services as needed. Communicate with pit tech to send oil and pressure test vehicles. Retain knowledge about a wide array of vehicle history, technical details, and lubrication specifics. Perform excellent customer service when necessary. Show less

  I worked at EDUCAnet as a full-time English, History, and Humanities teacher. My tasks included preparing and delivering lessons weekly to multicultural classes of diverse social backgrounds. I collaborated with a bilingual team to analyze effective teaching strategies, implement new administrative changes, and developed new ways to engage students.I practiced self-education abilities to provide students with the tools they need to learn. I acted as a mentor to student-developed thesis projects in the high school; lead teacher-created progressiveprojects regarding European memory of WWII. I organized and chaperone field trips around Europe, specifically around the Czech Republic. My job had me deliver verbal and non-verbal instruction to students of varying degrees of English fluency in all classes. Sylvan tutors also perform online tutoring for 60 minute periods and after school homework support for students already in a school program.Sylvan also partners with the Upper Skagit Indian Reservation every Summer.
