  I worked as a maintenance engineer on site performing a very wide variety of functions including:• Managed and executed the sites preventative maintenance programs. • Performed Root Cause Failure Analysis and reliability analysis of I/E equipment• Provided I/E Engineering support for refinery technicians• Completed a variety of minor capital projects. • Led Support, Modification and Maintenance of site’s Safety Instrumented Systems• Planning and Emerging work support for maintenance shutdowns (TAR)• Performed incident investigations• Member of Bulwer Island Fire Fighting Team• Supported site wide multi-year RetroHAZOP program. In the last three months at Bulwer Island I worked as part of the Refinery Transition Project preparing instrument and electrical scopes to convert the refinery into a fuels terminal. Scope included:• Identifying HV assets to be decommissioned• Preparing a decommissioning scope and process for site instruments. • Assisting with identification of instruments and electrical equipment. Show less I assisted in the commissioning of the $600m BP Zhuhai 3 project which is to become worlds largest PTA Chemical plant. Key activities on the project included:• Designing and implementing control logic on the site's Distributed Control System• Modifying operator HMI graphics • Support vendor’s electrical team for critical compressor commissioning• Support EPCM contractor’s rotating equipment team for critical pump commissioning• Support analyser team for function testing and SIS validation of critical process analysers.
