      • I worked as Coach on Netball Sport development programme for High and Primary School Sport development programs. This initiative was supported by Department of Education and Sport and Recreation (Eastern Cape Provincial Government).• The purpose of this initiative address health challenges and to avoid introduction or usage of illegal substances by youngsters. Focus was between the girls of the age of +/- 10 years to +/- 17 years.• My duties were to coach these young girls and assist to unleash sport talents and taught them how to create a balance between academic work and sport.• Work close with teachers and School Governance Bodies to address any unusual acts spot out from students (child abuse and etc.), provide counselling assistance when necessary. • Provide monthly feedback on the progress of each student to the school committee (principal, teachers and parents) and monitor positive progress on those students.• Conducts one on one engagement with students and motivate them and ensure that they improved on their class work.• Communication was the key on our coaching programs and ensures open door policy for all the stakeholders (students, teachers and community as large).• This exercise taught how to engage with youngsters and how to get them to focus their energy on self – development in terms of creating balance on interpersonal skills (communication, leadership skills and disturbance handling Show less
