  For this company and one other, I have performed the role of extra for on site filming of the TV show "The Gifted," wherein we had to follow the precise instructions of the director in order to ensure the best quality of the show. This also included arriving on the set and staying for at least 12 hours a shift each day, which taught me how to arrive looking my best early in the morning and how to keep my energy running high during long hours.

  During my time at Applebee's, my main jobs were to greet guests as they arrived and to seat them in a space where I knew they would be attended to, or I would take their names down on a list if we were too busy to accommodate them at that time. These skills taught me how to be friendly towards customers as well as how to communicate with the rest of the staff to ensure I did not overload them, and I also learned organizational skills that I might be able to best handle the situation. I was also tasked with cleaning the tables once the customers were done and cleaning the restrooms twice a day, something that helped put cleanliness as a top priority for my work space. Lastly, I would assist the other members of the staff in whatever capacity I could, which included but was not limited to taking food orders, delivering food, assisting with supply organization, and running errands to other stores for more supplies.
