  Family Focus Rotorua For the past two years, I have led professionals (counsellors, social workers, advocates, facilitators) who specialise in the field of Family Violence and Sexual violence. This service aims to maximize the safety of family and sexual violence victims who present with current or post crisis needs.   Rotorua Children’s TeamIn 2016, I completed an 18-month secondment with the Rotorua Children’s Team as a Lead Professional. This was a pilot project where I participated as a pioneer in the community to deliver services using an integrated service response model in child protection services. My responsibilities included:• Developing safe working relationships with Tamariki, and their whanau• Ensure practice is underpinned by rigorous evidence• Completed full psycho-social assessments, identify risks, protective factors, developmental and safety needs• Use a whole of whanau approach and develop a Child’s Action Network (professionals and whanau links)• To provide a summary of assessment findings, plans and any interventions required to a senior panel• To possess an extensive knowledge base of community contracts so whanau can access services.
