      Family Focus Rotorua For the past two years, I have led professionals (counsellors, social workers, advocates, facilitators) who specialise in the field of Family Violence and Sexual violence. My responsibilities include:• Coordinating the delivery of our Family Violence Prevention contract in an NGO setting in Rotorua, Tokoroa and Taupo• Coordinating court referrals for Non-violence and Safety Programmes• Developing comprehensive assessment documents for perpetrators and victims of Family Violence• Manage staff schedules, allocations, caseloads and increase their workforce capabilities• To support professionals to be able to confidently and competently complete holistic assessments• To support professionals to competently and safely implement intervention plans• To deliver competent and safe psycho-social programmes to perpetrators and victims of violence• To ensure we are following best practice guidelines, contractual obligations and ensure ethical fabrics are embedded• To produce bi-monthly data reports and invoicing sheets for the Ministry of Justice and the Department of Corrections• Completed a post-graduate certificate and diploma in violence and trauma Show less In 2015, I started with the Safety Team at Family Focus Rotorua. This service aims to maximize the safety of family and sexual violence victims who present with current or post crisis needs. This was a pilot project where I participated as a pioneer in the community to deliver services using an integrated service response model in child protection services. My responsibilities included:• Developing safe working relationships with Tamariki, and their whanau• Ensure practice is underpinned by rigorous evidence• Completed full psycho-social assessments, identify risks, protective factors, developmental and safety needs• Use a whole of whanau approach and develop a Child’s Action Network (professionals and whanau links)• To provide a summary of assessment findings, plans and any interventions required to a senior panel• To possess an extensive knowledge base of community contracts so whanau can access services.
