Pennsylvania State University Cheerleading Team Captain - Apr 2019 I have been a member of the Penn State Cheerleading team for four years now and was chosen to be Captain for the 2019-2020 season. Throughout my senior year, I plan to lead my team on and off the field and serve as a resource to them with anything they need. I have taken the initiative to serve as the "middleman" for my team and my coaches meaning I relay information from my coaches to my team and vice versa. I feel it is important for the team to be able to communicate their comments and concerns to the coaches as well, so I chose to be that resource for them. This year I will be on the co-ed squad for the third year in a row and competing with the Nationals squad for my fourth year in a row.
