  Power2Girls is a US non-profit organization here in Ghana- Accra with the aim and vision to educate, create awareness and empower girls in the Ghana own their future by introducing UNICEF tested and proven solution dubbed" Sugar Daddy" awareness program which basically helps educate young girls and other opinion leaders the risk associated with " Sugar Daddy's" exploiting young girls. Some of the risk that comes with cross general relationships like" Sugar Daddy's and Sugar Mummies" are:1. Transmission of HIV/AIDS and other forms of STIs and STDs to young girls who intend transmit same to young boys as they engage with multiple sex partners. 2. Un planned pregnancy or increase teenage pregnancy cases which leads to majority of the girls having to drop out of school which creates a visual circle of poverty in the girls family as the cost of maintenance and taking care of the baby is expensive. etcAs a CHANGE AGENT EDUCATOR my core responsibility is to assist in the localization of the UNICEF curriculum( thus formulating a curriculum that fit's the issue of Sugar Daddy's in the Ghanaian contest). And also visiting targeted communities in and around Accra to educate, create awareness thereby empowering the girl child in Ghana own her future. Show less
