  With Nicole’s grandparents as well as other family living on the Monterey Peninsula and in Monterey County, her parents decided to purchase a second home in Carmel-by-the-Sea when she was a little girl. Having spent holidays, vacations, and weekends at the “Cottage,” she has fond memories of walking from their home, to town, to the beach and back. Although Carmel-by-the-Sea was a welcome respite, Nicole spent the majority of her early years growing up in Atherton, California. There, she attended Sacred Heart Preparatory and cultivated her love for all things equestrian. Nicole carried her love of English Show Jumping with her as she attended the University of San Diego and participated on its Equestrian Team throughout her collegiate career.
