      Activities and Societies: University of the Sunshine Coast High Performance Student Athlete My Honours year involved a thesis project titled: Relationships between nut size, kernel quality and pollen parentage in macadamia. I developed and consolidated skills such as experimental design and setup, fieldwork, hyperspectral imaging, laboratory techniques, management of large datasets, data analysis, report writing to a publishable standard, teamwork, time management and being able to adapt to situations as they change.

      Activities and Societies: University of the Sunshine Coast High Performance Student Athlete After finding an interest in conservation at an early age I pursued a degree in Environmental Science, minoring in Plant Ecology. My degree sparked a passion for Plant Ecology, allowing me to develop plant identification skills, an understanding of restoration practices, and plant growth and reproductive mechanisms. By the end of my degree I took an interest in horticulture and agriculture, leading me to take on an Honours project on macadamia nut quality following my Bachelor's degree.
