  Design engineer on a wide range of different projects including high quality commercial and residential properties, government buildings, and smaller unique housing renovations and art installations. Worked with a number of architects including Make, Allies and Morrison and Farrells.Completed 5 Broadgate, new headquarter offices and trading space for UBS bank covering over 700,000sqft, working on the superstructure design using an innovative double beam solution. Also responsible for coordinating multi-disciplinary teams including fire, blast and sustainability engineering. The structural design made use of a cradle to grave approach to reduce embodied carbon throughout each stage of the design.Worked as part of the London 2012 Olympic team on the Media Hub Facilities, designing facilities for 12,000 journalists and associated temporary facilities in the Media Press Centre development.   Facades leader for several projects in the Asia region including luxury casino/hotel developments, commercial high rise towers, existing facade remediation studies and the redevelopment of HK international airport terminal 2 concept design. Worked with high profile architects including Zaha Hadid, Aedas & Architectonica, from concept through to construction, carrying out design, overseeing deliverables, managing construction and site supervision.Within the team also responsible for administrating fee proposals and contracts, overseeing deliverables, managing resources and financial performance of projects.Facades leader for Award winning Morpheus Hotel in Cotai Macau with Zaha Hadid architects consisting of a particularly challenging geometrical facade including over 20 different facade systems, complex double curved geometry and a highly bespoke access and maintenance strategy.Project lead for a casino development in Manila, Philippines carrying out the facade design and managing the contractor's deliverables throughout construction on site to ensure compliance to a tight programme.Lead the engineering design of large scale public art installation 'Hang On A Minute Lads, I've Got A Great Idea' by UK artist Richard Wilson. A full size replica bus was mounted on the heritage listed Peninsula Hotel building, Hong Kong as part of Art Basel 2015. Show less
