  - Drive the localization charter at Microsoft India which involves 22 officially recognized Indian languages.- Lead the localization process, involving internal teams, localization/translation partners, vendors and individual contributors. Manage projects in a structured and organized manner setting clear targets and ensuring quality of localization and accuracy of translation. Build and maintain local language terminologies, glossaries and databases to ensure accuracy, standardization and ease of work. Meet superior quality standards through multiple reviews, QA processes and bug-fixing. - Collaborate with in-country and global localization teams, project managers and language managers in identifying and addressing localization challenges. Keeping track of industry trends and developments; identifying new localization opportunities and gaps; understanding market expectations; and strategizing to address them. - Work with marketing and sales teams to tap business opportunities where language technologies can play an important/decisive role. Work with internal teams and respond fast to fulfil customer asks. Lead outreach, training and evangelization activities to build impact and expand reach. Partner with PR, EC, BFSI, Edu, SMB and Customer teams to grow consumption of language products. - Partner with Marketing, PR, Social/Digital and Events teams to conduct Go To Market activities to drive localized products and language technologies.
