  am Responsible for efficient organisation of the Power Equipment and supervise a team of twelve to ensure the department provides a professional service to internal and external customers. My main duty is to carry out final inspections on all types of Tubular Running rental equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturing Specifications and Company Work Instructions so I can be confident that all the equipment leaving complies with quality standards set and ready for the end users – the offshore employees. This includes undertaking the maintenance functions in an efficient and cost effective manner, assessing the wear and tear of equipment, ensuring a full proficient service has been carried out, that it is fit for purpose and ready within in the timescale provided. I ensure all personnel are trained to a high standard. I have recently completed my OPITO competency assessor’s course and I now carry out competency for the department, which gives me a better opportunity to assess each individuals development needs and requirements.   Carry out tasks in the day to day running of the Joint Venture Oceaneering Baku Facility. These include supervising the direct work of technicians, performing Toolbox talks, writing JSEA's / Risk assessments and all other HSE related issues, liaising with clients and 3rd party companies . Mentoring tech's and carrying out competency assessments on the Oceaneering ROV tooling product range. Preparing and writing documentation packs for offshore and onshore scopes of work. Oversee and Carry out maintenance on Oceaneering's ROV tooling range and Oceaneering's Six shooter package which involves interfacing of new equipment, system commissioning and trials in conjunction with the project engineers, Carrying out various subsea installations with various equipment packages.
