      Product Engineering Intern - Avionics and Electrical Systems

      - Used Capital Siemens Mentor Graphics and created a jumper harness to send information to two versions of a diagnostics box (AReS II and AReS III) on the same plane.- Created a Bill of Materials for new harness and updated it as a package into the company database- Tested AReS II on workbench to ensure whether values were being accurately tracked.- Updated functional test in support of AReS III system. - Routed two mod drawings, eight wire diagram updates, and four harness updates through ENOVIA PLM software.- Took harness database and reorganized information in a single page spreadsheet to display relevant information- Updated control wheel wiring to match supplier drawing and updated all related wire diagrams to create continuity.- Created a mod drawing to shield wires on fire loop to potentially combat issues with fire loop voltage reading.- Physically tested jumper harness to ensure data was being received on both AReS boxes. - Fixed documentation on connector parts by removing incorrect part numbers on harness contacts.       - Added a pressure transmitter to a lube oil pump on a unit's boiler feedwater (BFW) system. The upgrade included integrating a permissive to automatically shut down the BFW system via the DCS when lube oil pressure dropped far below normal operating conditions.- Upgraded thermostats on six pumps to intrinsically safe resistance temperature devices (RTDs) to enhance safety.- Installed a pressure transmitter on a debutanizer bottom to enable accurate differential pressure readings to improve process controls.- Updated technical drawings for high seal pressure alarm updates.
