  Conducted surface science research under the direction of Dr. John Michael White. Co-authored a paper detailing a new method to grow thin layers of titanium dioxide on various substrates. Analyzed sample films using a variety of advanced methods including: scanning electron microscopy (SEM), x-ray Diffraction, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), ion scattering spectroscopy (ISS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and ellipsometry.
