  Project: Multi-Year Resilience Programme Pakistan Description: An Education cannot wait funded project aimed at improving access to inclusive and equitable quality education for refugee, crisis-affected and otherwise vulnerable children and adolescents in Pakistan. One aspect of the project was to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities in 24 public schools across 3 districts in KPK. I successfully implemented the WASH project.Roles and Responsibilites:• Conducted technical feasibilities for climate resilient WASH infrastructure projects.• Write field visit reports and develop BOQs.• Design culturally appropriate, disaster-resilient, and environmentally sustainable WASH facilities meeting engineering standards.• Supervise all construction-related works, including water supply projects, latrine construction, and related schemes.• Ensured proper storage, delivery, and accurate records of materials, equipment, and tools.• Maintained close coordination and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders. • Worked closely with local communities to build their capacity in maintaining and managing the WASH facilities.• Maintained up-to-date documentation of all project activities, including project plans, field monitoring and progress reports, and budgets.In addition to my technical role, I also contributed to the organization's fundraising efforts by assisting with proposal writing to secure project funding from donors. Roles and Responsibilities: - I worked as a Field Engineer in the Khyber District and managed 18 Community physical infrastructures (CPIs). - Conducted field assessments and surveys to identify suitable locations for drinking water supply systems, irrigation channels, considering water availability, accessibility, and community needs. - Collaborated with stakeholders to design and plan the CPIs, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and project specifications. - Oversaw installation, commissioning, constructions and maintenance of the CPIs, ensuring quality control and compliance. - Coordinated with contractors and community members for timely execution of activities, including solar panel installation for renewable energy generation. - Installated lined canals to improve irrigation systems to optimize water distribution for agriculture. - Monitor and evaluate project progress, prepare field monitoring visit (FMV) reports, and propose solutions to challenges. - Provide technical guidance and training to field staff and community members.
