  Roy is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Roy was a member of the senior management team that developed the Columbia Group that listed on the Johannesburg stock exchange in 1986. His main responsibility as a director and shareholder of that company was the development of its management consulting, training and business sales divisions during which time he consulted in the sale and acquisition of many companies in diverse industries.After emigrating to Australia in 1996, Roy entered the business sales industry as a principal of Core Business Brokers, a boutique broker agency specialising in the sale of small to medium sized businesses and has been successful in the sales of many varied businesses since then including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, service industries, retail, franchises and food.This experience has equipped him to be able to analyse the needs of both sellers and buyers in a myriad of different industries and be able to successfully negotiate practical solutions for the sale of businesses to create win/win outcomes for clients.As a Sydney representative of the Divest Merge Acquire Group, Roy has significance experience of over more than 35 years to assist sellers of medium sized businesses, together with the backup of the Divest Merge Acquire team at head office to ensure the sale event produces the best possible result with the minimum of fuss.
