  I worked in the Wofford College Athletic Department as Intern for the Sport Information Director. During football and basketball games I kept statistics. My writing duties included writing player profile pages for game day programs. Also, I wrote two articles for a Spartanburg periodical, The Paper, on the History of Wofford-Furman football series and the 1960 Wofford Basketball team's NAIA tournament appearance.

I was Assistant Principal at two different high schools, Greenwood High School from 2000-2007 and at Emerald High School from 2007-2009. I was in charge of supervising student activities and discipline, teacher observations, Administrative liaison to the Athletic Department, Supervising Clerical Staff, and Textbook Manager. Additionally, I was in charge of the school's accreditation review in 2005-2006.

  I was an 8th Grade South Carolina History Teacher and for two years I was the Lead 8th Grade Teacher. As the Lead Teacher, I was the liaison between the Administration and the other 8th Grade Teachers. I planned schedules for events like assemblies and field trips for the 8th Grade.
