  One of eleven students picked to serve on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council for the College of Architecture and Construction Management. The council’s purpose is to discuss college-specific issues regarding academics, social, professional, and student success. The Kennesaw State University (KSU) Learning Assistant Program places high achieving undergraduate students in courses they have previously completed to support KSU’s student success efforts. These Learning Assistants, or LAs, assist students in developing strategies that will help strengthen their knowledge, develop transferable learning skills, and achieve academic success.

  Part of Perkins and Will five (5) week mentorship program which focused on understanding the firm’s five key themes: design, innovation, diversity, sustainability, social purpose, and well-being. Worked closely with a healthcare architect on generating interventions for Murphy Crossing, a site located on the Atlanta Beltline. Approached the project through a psychological and biophilic lens--designed with the intent of creating an inclusive and accessible environment that enhances opportunities for connections for every individual. By enhancing the human experience through a healing environment, this approach allowed the community to feel as if they have a voice. Show less
