      Served as the platoon leader and medical officer. Lead a 29 membered platoon. Participated in two of Taiwan’s major military exercises: Joint Military Exercise and Han Kuang Exercise. Our battalion won second place in 2004 Joint Military Exercise.

Using advanced synthetic methods (e.g. alkyl/aromatic sultonation) and biological evaluation techniques to create and verified novel biomedical materials.       Led a team to operate GP clinical project. The project gained five major hospitals’ IRB approval, including UT MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX), Memorial Hermann Hospital (Houston, TX), National Taiwan University Hospital (Taipei, Taiwan), Houston Methodist Research Institute (Houston, TX) and University of Chicago (Chicago, IL). Led a team to work on GP project. GP project was developed from one of my PhD projects. We completed in vitro evaluation, GLP grade PK/PD/TOX studies, CMC profile establishment, clinical protocol design, IND writing and filing. We filed an IND for GP and gained US FDA approval in 2008.
