      Responsible for the production, distribution and treatment of drinking water and wastewater through the operation and maintenance of Ottawa’s water supply. The central system includes the Britannia and Lemieux Island Water Purification, Robert O. Pickard Environmental Centre (ROPEC) Sewage Treatment Plants, and over 115 drinking water, wastewater and stormwater pumping stations. Responsible for managing a branch of approx. 85 people. Leading the City’s Comprehensive Asset Management Program, managing lifecycle renewal of the City’s approximately $50 billion of infrastructure assets, as well as Source Water Protection and the Infrastructure Master Plan. Manages an annual capital budget of approximately $300million. Range of assets includes buildings, facilities, parks, roads, sidewalks, drinking water, wastewater, stormwater infrastructure, etc. Leading a unit of up to 13 people within the Asset Management Branch. Strategic asset managment, capital program coordination, capital budget coordination, project intake. Leading a unit of up to 9 people within the Asset Management Branch. Capital program coordination, capital budget coordination, project intake. Leading the Network Implementation and Support Unit, which encompasses Water Loss, Sewer Laterals, Residential Protective Plumbing and Pipeline Condition Assessment. Condition assessment of large-diameter watermains, trunk sewers and forcemains hydraulic analysis of water distribution, wastewater and stormwater systems
