  Project:Description: IBM developed BDAP (Bloomberg Document Analysis and Processing) at client site (Bloomberg). BDAP is an application which provides the analysts with a person, organization and various fund details. Some of the data include where the particular person is working, his career history, designations, hobbies and many more. These data’s are collected from newspapers, Wall Street Journal etc. Once the news is collected it’s feed in to the database. Once fed, the work item is generated to the Analyst who verifies the new database change and authorizes the change. The database is divided in to 4 parts, profiles (Person, Organization, Funds) and Fundamentals. The GUI is developed using .NET, the business layer is implemented using J2EE and the database part is implemented using MQ, Documentum and Oracle.
