  In my role as a Linux Administrator, I oversee the management of four critical domains: Linux, Backup, Web, and Storage, ensuring the seamless operation of these vital components within our environment. My primary focus revolves around Linux administration, encompassing a range of essential tasks. The regular file system creations and backups are handled when the server is good to be released. I'm also responsible for volume and LUN management, including their creation, configuration, and termination.Additionally, I'm involved monthly patching for the RHEL 7, RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 servers, ensuring that our systems stay up-to-date and secure. The major role of me revolves during the Reboot Activity of the Linux servers which occurs every quarter and I play a 100% role into that. When a new server is to be integrated into our environment my role involves the addition of the server to our infrastructure and its subscription to RedHat Satellite, facilitating streamlined management.In my capacity as a Backup Administrator, I assume responsibility for monitoring all backup jobs, utilizing Veritas NetBackup 10.0.1. Furthermore, I regularly monitor file system loads, proactively managing them to prevent high-load situations from adversely affecting our environment.As a Web Administrator, I engage in the creation of both internal and external certificates. For external certificates, we rely on Entrust certificates, ensuring that our web infrastructure remains secure and trustworthy.In these multifaceted roles, I am dedicated to maintaining the reliability, security, and efficiency of our Linux-based systems and associated domains.
