  As an area supervisor I managed not only my own mouse facility, but two others, one of which included non-human primates (NHPs). I quickly took on extra duties from the facilities manager such as ordering the weekly food and bedding for all six facilities, organizing a monthly continuing education program to motivate the 100+ technicians, and coordinating the yearly technician week.

  PhD student

  During my time as a PhD student I worked extensively testing novel targets in several mouse models of infection as well as in vaccination studies for possible inclusion in future pneumococcal vaccines. Many projects were managed simultaneously and performed in a concise and efficient manner.
