  I successfully enrolled and qualified in an NVQ Lv3 Fabrication and Welding with HETA (Humberside Engineering Training Association).During my apprenticeship, I learned the key fundamentals of welding MIG – Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), TIG – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), and Stick – Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). I worked with a vast range of materials and material thickness.I also learned how to safely use a variety of hand tools and equipment to manufacture products, whilst following the Health and Safety Act 1974 and The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 Employment Rights and Responsibilities - Pass, First Aid - Pass, Basic Slinging and Lifting - Pass, Basic Scaffolding - Pass Show less

  I have expanded my role within the company, due to my sheer determination of wanting to further enhance and develop my skills. My current role:-MRP Scheduler - I am currently responsible for providing an effective MRP driven scheduling support, to ensure parts are available as required by the demand and supply plans. One of the main focus points within the business is to achieve Oliver Wright Class A excellence, this means OTIF must be minimum 95% for customer and supplier orders. To achieve this goal, you must have excellent attention to detail and work together within a team to ensure a high level of data accuracy. This includes maintaining and expediting scheduling of orders in line with MRP signals and demand.I also take responsibility for inventory planning and any continuous improvements within the department. Other roles within Eminox have included:-Inventory Stock Controller - I was in charge of running monthly ad hoc analytics for the Inventory Manager, whilst attaining and maintaining 100% Stock Integrity. I also managed to minimise obsolete stock to target levels by identifying and managing safety stock levels for each commodity and providing root cause and corrective action analysis.CNC Laser and Machinery Operator - I was the lead operator of the Trumpf TruLaser/Trustore 3030 ensuring high productivity, efficiency and high-quality results. I am also signed off to operate a variety of hydraulic pressure machines.Welder - One of my proudest moments in my working career was to support and offer advice to project engineering, in order to define production welding processes in the new Aftermarket DPF cell.
