  I was exposed to the installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), service and maintenance for complete ACMV products and also managed to apply the theoretical engineering knowledge which I have learned in the lectures into practice through tasks and mini-projects given by site engineers. Other than HVAC, I also have a deep interest in manufacturing, heat transfer and renewable energy during my studies and wish to apply my knowledge in my upcoming career. Tasks performed: - Assisted site engineer in: • T&C for central cooling plants such as Chillers, Air Handling Unit (AHU), Fan Coil Unit (FCU), pumps, and Cooling Tower are installed based on the design specifications by the main-contractor. • T&C for exhaust fans in the riser and washroom. • T&C for airflow at the office area, auditorium, kitchen and gymnasium. • T&C for air humidity and temperature at Lift Motor Room and Data Centre.• T&C for pressurisation at the lift lobby and staircase. • Smoke Extraction Test to test the functionality of ACMV equipment in case of a fire.- Inspected thoroughly all the equipment installed with the consultant engineer to ensure all works were done according to the specifications required.- Liaised with other M&E sub-contractors to prepare for Bomba Test in order to obtain Certificate of Fitness for Occupation (CFO) or Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) for ACE-BNM site.   • Responsible for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) of new natural gas metering stations and Third-Party Access (TPA) modification projects with a net worth of more than RM 5 million.• Communicated with Planning Team and Drafter to design gas metering stations and reviewed Engineering Calculations, Equipment Datasheets, and Technical Drawing (General Arrangement, and P&ID) as per company's standard and requirements (ASME and API).• Supervised the fabrication progress and validated QC activities which include Non-Destructive Test (NDT), Hydrostatic Test with JKKP/DOSH, and Blasting & Painting of pipe spools.• Involved in leak and functionality test for various models and brands of Valve, Gas Pressure Regulator, Gas Meter, and Pressure Relief Valves such as Honeywell, Pietro Fiorentini, Emerson, etc. during Factory/Site Acceptance Test for a smooth commissioning activity of the gas metering station.• Managed the project procurement to ensure all materials and equipment are delivered within the schedule and monitored the project progress and performance of contractors complying with safety, cost, and time.   Project: Design, Manufacture, Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Depot Equipment and Maintenance Vehicle (DEMV) for the Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) Project from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia.• Managed the project to supply Compressed Air Systems and Refueling Systems for LRT3 Depot and developed project plans and schedules in collaboration with clients, project managers, architects, and other professionals.• Cooperated with the manufacturer and supplier, as well as supervised the installation of compressed air pipeline, Oil-lubricated Screw Compressor, Heatless Desiccant Air Dryer, and Air Receiver.• Monitored the construction activity on-site including fabrication process and installation of the 10,000 L diesel tank and pump system, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.• Liaised with other contractors to identify risks and proposed mitigation strategies to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during piping installation.• Helped to provide technical guidance and support to the installation team to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.   Project: EPCC and Modification of Petronas Gas Berhad (PGB) Metering and Regulating Station for Hartalega NGC 1.5 • Lead the modification project for the PGB Regulating and Metering Station to accommodate both high and low pressure of natural gas for Hartalega’s new plant and production line NGC 1.5.• Coordinate discussion and meeting with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and JKKP (DOSH) to present project proposal, project challenges and proposed solutions.• Perform technical evaluations and engineering analysis for equipment and systems such as the low-pressure regulating station and odoriser system to be implemented with the project scope. • Collaborate with consultants on M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) and C&S (Civil & Structural) works to ensure adherence with project specifications and requirements.• Facilitate communication with other departments and present regular project updates to management.
