  I'm a part-time cruising sailor with some great trips behind me and much more ahead. So far we have sailed around the British Virgin islands (more times than we can count) St. Martin, St. Barths, Anguilla, Antigua, Barbuda, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, the Abacos Bahamas, Thailand, and around Lake Ontario of course.My most challenging trip was one of 2000 miles from Lunenburg Nova Scotia, Canada to Marigot, St. Martin. At the farthest, we were over 600 miles offshore and at seas for almost 11 days without touching land.What's next? A Trans-Atlantic crossing in January 2019 taking 3 weeks and covering over 4,000 km.
