  The Kilimanjaro Project:At the age of 15 years old, I successfully executed an expedition to climb Africa's highest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro. The goal was to raise much needed funds for Console, a suicide prevention and awareness charity. Along with a team of 6, friends and fellow mountaineering enthusiasts, we planned various fundraisers within our Community, Scout County, and Secondary School, raising €11,000 for Console.On the 28th of May, 2012 at 11:15 am, after a vigorous 6 days of climbing, altitude adjustment and a final 8 hour summit push, we reached the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro with a 100% success rate from the team. Show less
