  As the chair of the Lectures Committee in Penn State's Student Programming Association, I played a key role in hosting 11 virtual speakers throughout the 2020-2021 school year. These speakers include Patrisse Cullors, Seth Meyers, Geena Rocero, and Leslie Odom Jr. The topics of the lectures ranged from current affairs to domestic abuse to mental health during a global pandemic. I ran committee meetings with students where we decided who the speakers would be, found moderators, and brainstormed ways to increase engagement during virtual lectures. I was also in charge of a 6 figure budget and in communication with a booking agent from Keppler Speakers about fee and contract negotiations. Show less

  Working with Dr. Louisa Holmes, a geography professor at Penn State, I tabulated and organized a large data set regarding health information on young people in the San Francisco area. The data was gathered from a study lead by Dr. Holmes on the health disparities based on geography. My work primarily revolved around reviewing and reporting anomalies in the data using Stata.

  In this role, I am responsible for ensuring that NEBA studies are conducted in accordance with the Method/Study Protocol/Plan, NEBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), and additional regulatory and industry expectations.I primarily review study documentation including but not limited to bioanalytical study plans and protocols, method validation and sample analysis data for compliance with SOPs and current applicable regulatory guidance.I also monitor clinical and nonclinical laboratory studies to assure management that the facilities, equipment, personnel, methods, practices, are in conformance with applicable regulations as specified in sponsor protocol as well as preform data, in-process, and study audits of critical phases for ongoing studies.
