      My position involves supporting the repair technicians with complicated repairs/questions. Managing process updates, bulletins and procedures. Training and assessing new staff. I also support the IT department with laptop repairs. Daily tasks involve fault finding in the tablets and laptops, disassembly and reassembly of constantly varying models while maintaining an ESD safe environment.

      MAINTENANCE CO-ORDINATOR / PRODUCTION PLANNER

      I took a position with MultiPanel UK Ltd, the only Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) manufacturer in the UK, manufacturing 10,000,000m2 of the highest quality rigid sheet materials per year, using British engineering to consistently achieve the best price vs quality ratio.I was initially hired as a support worker whilst the company was going through a period of change, but within a few months my methodical approach to tasks and lateral problem-solving skills were quickly matched with a position in the engineering department as Maintenance Co-ordinator/ Production Planner. In this role I was responsible for writing and implementing Preventative Maintenance Schedules, and Production and Health & Safety Procedures to ensure reliable equipment to facilitate continuous process manufacturing. Key responsibilities included scheduling maintenance resources (competent staff, parts, equipment), and fostering an amicable relationship with the Production Managers and their production line teams to promote team work to achieve preventative maintenance against schedules, whilst optimising production against targets.Daily tasks included researching and ordering parts, updating parts database, implementing new scanner systems and inventory management, outsourcing fabrication of machinery parts, re-engineering and recycling redundant spare parts, working with global suppliers to source parts, monitoring equipment performance, IT support, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety requirements; permits to work, health and & safety, risk assessments, etc. Show less

      Contracted to and representing Network Rail, I am accountable to the Designated Project Engineer (DPE) for day-today management and co-ordination of technical and engineering aspects of projects on the operational railway, fostering collaborative working between Network Rail and Contractors. I support the Network Rail Teams on projects with a multi-discipline design integration process. I support the Project Manager in undertaking reviews of Work Package Plans (WPPs), Task Briefing Sheets (TBS), Installation Designs (Form A, B & AB), etc. I monitor projects for compliance and engineering activities regarding competence, safety, cost, programme, etc. I collate the project documents.I receive regular briefings on changes to E&P standards affecting our projects, and together assess the effect these changes may have on our projects.I am knowledgeable of, and understand how to implement Railway Group/ Network Rail Company Standards including how to apply the contents of NR/L2/INI/P3M/101 Governance for Railway Investment and NR/L2/INI/02009 Engineering Management for Projects, to achieve electrification and plant compliant designs and engineering deliverables, including technical writings (e.g. Technical Work Scopes (TWS)), and the relevant Engineering Management Plan (EMP). I have obtained the expected levels of knowledge in methods of monitoring engineering activities regarding competence, safety, environment, cost, programme, information, testing and commissioning, in line with the Engineering Management (Systems Engineering) Competences deemed necessary for cross-disciplinary integration of projects.
