I completed my M.A. in Justice Studies from the University of New Hampshire. I conducted research focused on understanding covictims’ experiences with intimate partner homicide to elucidate risks for lethality in violent relationships. Using a phenomenological qualitative approach, I was responsible for leading and assisting interviews with covictims, transcribing and coding interviews, conducting the qualitative analysis, and disseminating findings for peer-reviewed journals. While pursuing my M.A. at the University of New Hampshire, I was supported by the NSF Social Sciences Grant SES1026803 (PI: Dr. Ellen Cohn). The study centered around legal socialization and rule-violating behavior among adolescents. I was responsible for contacting participants, administrating and coordinating data collection, assisting with statistical analyses and preparing conference presentations.
