      Training Officer

      Training Officer for FedEx UK - I worked at the Head Office providing training on all the standard HR topics plus soft skills. It meant I travelled the country, saw a lot of depots and learnt so much about how to design and deliver training to suit your audience. It was my first venture into Training and a fantastic eye opener for me.One of the major projects I was proud of was launching a new cultural initiative to all senior managers and helping them cascade it down to their staff and embed it within the organisation. I also dealt with the first group on the talent programme for a number of 'shining stars'. By the end of this programme a third of candidates had obtained promotion. Show less

      Led workstream to analyse significant amounts of data to define over 40 payroll standards to simplify and govern the Payroll for 35,000 employees at nearly 300 sites within the UK operation.Facilitated workshops with the Payroll and HR communities to document the As Is and define the To Be ways of working.Carried out impact assessments with the HR, IT and Shared Services workstreams to ensure the defined standards were fit for purpose and legislatively compliant.Mapped and managed key stakeholders, providing regular communications on progress and simplifying complex ideas to enable sign off by the Senior HRBPs and the Board.Project Managed the definition and hand over of the Payroll Standards to the Shared Services Function for governance.Defined the governance structure and process to allow the ongoing monitoring of compliance to standards.
