      Engineer in training

Audit and investigations of faults on electrical machines (generators and motors), transmission and distribution networks and drives. I have done modifications and fault finding in the factory environment as I have been involved in a multitude of operation, maintenance and asset creation tasks in the power station including mills, conveyors, generators, boilers, fans, pumps, ups, compressors, transformers and DC systems. I have been involved in major planned outages from isolating the generating unit from the national grid to returning to service and synchronising the unit back onto the national grid and quality inspections whilst the system is in service.
