As the targeted delivery of XG19 was a novel finding, I submitted two provisional patents on its use in ocular and other ischaemic conditions in April 2017 and an International PCT application in April 2018. I have had the privilege of presenting my data at national (HealthEx Conference and Exposure Conference, Auckland, New Zealand) and international conferences (International Gap Junction Conference, Scotland 2017 and ARVO, Hawaii 2018).
