      Regional Teen Treasurer

As the Regional Teen Treasurer, I was the representative of a teen constituency made up of thirty-five chapters across seven states. Leading conference calls every month with the five other elected officers, I oversaw and assisted in fundraising events to help raise our budget. I interacted with teens from across the Region as well as their parents, ensuring that their voices were heard and their needs met. The best part was leading workshops and engaging in community service events.Additionally, I gave speeches in front of 700 and up people participating in the original oratory competition. The purpose of this competition was to create or memorize a speech that was 3-5 minutes long relating to the theme of the conference. We then would present it in front of everyone and compete to win. Each year I placed and would advance to the next conference. Show less
