  At the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County, I worked in the Child Health and Development department. I administered the Battelle Developmental Inventory-2nd Edition (BDI-2) screener, analyzed the Ages and Stages Questionnaire-3 (ASQ-3) results completed by teachers, and coached providers using the Teaching Strategies GOLD platform, in order to track the developmental progress of early learners birth to 5 years of age. As needed, I supported the other members of my team and provided assistance in facilitating STEAM lessons, followed-up with parents and providers on screening results, and instructed trainings. I became certified to train Ages and Stages Questionnaire-3 and Ages and Stages Questionnaire: Social Emotional-2 (ASQ:SE-2), Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED, and Safe Children's Coalition Shelter from the Storm.   Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) is the "front door" to all child care, early learning programs, and resources available to families in the community.At the Coalition, I supported families to make childcare decisions by presenting financial assistance options, provided quality childcare resources, and interviewed for additional community resource or referral needs. I provided guidance to blended staff on current resource and referral practices. I also took complaints from families regarding issues related to their childcare provider, typed up a complaint report, and provided report to necessary stakeholders. I located and attended meetings and events in the community to disseminate information about the Coalition and connected with community partners to keep an updated resource list for families in need.
