  I served as Honors Coordinator, Internship Coordinator and Chair of Career Preparation Day for the Communication Department. My primary areas of teaching included Introduction to Human Communication, Public Speaking, Great Speeches, Professional Presentations, Small Groups, Intercultural Communication, Risk and Crisis Communication, Interviewing, Training and Development, LinkedIn, and even a course on Abraham Lincoln. I taught in multiple formats (face to face, hybrid, livestream and online) and have over 20+ years of experience.✼Responsible for the Communication Department's largest event, Career Preparation Day now going into its 16th year brining alumni and students together to help prepare WIU college students for their future careers.✼ Designed and implemented new course curriculum into the department and university including a GH299 (General Honors), For the Love of Lincoln, Risk & Crisis Communication, Loving LinkedIn, Special Topics and Personal Growth in Higher Education.✼Created a Risk/Crisis Communication Plan for the Emergency Consultation, Threat Assessment and Behavior Intervention Teams.
