  The University of Calgary Students’ Union serves and represent the interests’ of undergraduates through internal and external advocacy efforts as well as a high degree of programs and services. As Vice-President Student Life, I was one of five executives leading the organization. In this capacity, I presided over the vast and diverse network of 350+ student clubs representing 17,000+ students, sat on several university working groups (e.g., Campus Mental Health Strategy, Active Living Committee, etc.) while chairing two internal to the SU (Clubs Committee, Committee of 10,000).Credits include: + Earning $150,000 through the Quality Money program to upgrade campus infrastructure. + Upgrading email services from Webmail to Office 365 for all students. + Implementing sexual assault prevention training to Den staff (campus bar) for 40 full-time staff becoming the first licensed establishment in Calgary to have that training. + Coordinating logistical elements of Bermuda Shorts Day (year-end student appreciation event attended by 10,000 people).   Canada 150 Coordinator

  As Canada 150 Coordinator, I led a campaign that engaged 80,000+ individuals across 34 programs, including the single largest event ever held at the Genesis Centre, Canada Day 2017. Briefly, the Genesis Centre sees 1.5 million visitors annually and is situated in the most culturally diverse quadrant of the city. 64% of its membership is comprised of visible minorities. The Canada 150 campaign was a federal campaign to recognize and celebrate the nation's 150th anniversary (or sesquicentennial).
