  As a Department Supervisor Lead for the Park Operations Department I perform many duties and tasks for the company while also over-seeing the day- to- day operations of my staff of more than 500 + American and International employees during peak season! Most recently selected to go to Las Vegas, Nevada with other representatives from Cedar Fair Entertainment Company to become iROC/IRT certified to then structure and lead orientations to train my entire staff to become trained personnel.- Hire all employee personnel both new and returning employees- Design and implement official Park Operations Orientation to hundreds of new and returning employees each season.- Designed orientation tests, study guides, workbooks - Implemented formative and informative assessments to enhance the orientation and learning experience- Manage our park's social media outlets and answer all employee questions through these various forms of social media- Design and implement means of positive reinforcement awards to staff- Input paperwork into our parks computer Access system- Schedule park personnel for their shifts using computer WhenToWork system- Deal with customer issues pertaining to guest complaints and also boarding passes for those with disabilities and autism- Handle employee issues pertaining to absenteeism and decorum- Design and lead supervisor in-service workshops on the skills of good leadership Weniger anzeigen

  Teaching sections of American History 1865-1945 to 9th grade students at Oley Valley High School for the remainder of the 2015-2016 academic school year. Previously a Per Diem Substitute Teacher and then a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for the months of September and October, Oley Valley School District has generously extended my employment for the remainder of the academic school year. Topics of content taught consist of Westward Expansion and Native Americans, Gilded Age America, World War I and the Roaring 20s, American Imperialism, the Great Depression and finally World War II. This era of American History is incredibly unique as it embodies the changing evolution of America after the Industrial Revolution and the Civil War crippled a country in ruins, all the way to a prominent emerging leader on the world stage.
