      Led a division of 11 Sailors, trained 6 Division Officers, and assisted the Engineering Department Master Chief and Engineer Officer in day-to-day operations within Engineering Department. Set and maintained standards within Engineering Department as well as trained and qualified 7 Engineering Watch Supervisors (2 of which were E-5) and 11 Engineering Officer of the Watches. Conducted a full battery replacement to a new style battery, first for Virginia Class submarines, ahead of schedule with no issues.Conducted vital repairs to the Trim Pump Motor Controller, a major electric plant Circuit Breaker, ship's Diesel Generator, Deguassing, Impressed Current Cathodic Protection system. Developed a plan to cannabalize a casualty power cable to manufacture a replacement power cable during deployment to repair a propulsion plant fresh water motor in the Engine Room to ensure the ship got underway to support national tasking, receiving accolades from Naval Reactors (NAVSEA08) and Task Force.Rankings: Early Promote, #1 CPO onboard, #1 ELCPO in CSS-1, and #3 of 57 CPOs within CSS-1.Operations: 2 Western Pacific Deployment, 1 Eastern Pacific Deployment, 1 Arctic Deployment, 3 Operation Reactor Safeguards Examinations, 3 pre-deployment workup cycles.Awards: 2019 COMSUBRON Engineering "E", 2021 Non-Department Chief of the Year, 1 Navy Commendation Medal (2nd award), and 1 Navy Achievement Medal (6th award).Collateral Duties: MWR Fund Custodian for 2 years (handled over $50,000 in financials and equipment, earned the command $12,000 first year and $20,000 the second year).
