  The NEOM Green Hydrogen Project (NGHP) is a mega project in NEOM area of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project consists of a Solar Field and a Wind Farm producing electricity to power the Green Hydrogen Energy plant that would produce green hydrogen and green ammonia.The project personnel will peak just below 20,000 workers and staff and will include the transport of millions of tons of equipment and material.The position has the following roles:Responsible for the Road Transportation Safety of NEOM Green Hydrogen Project (NGHP)Develop and implement the Land Transportation Safety Strategy and Elements Journey Management Procedures Manage the Safety Training related to Road TransportationDesign and execute the audits and inspections that ensures the compliance of the project and the contractors with the safety procedures and standardsEnsure project requirements related to In-Vehicle-Monitoring-System (IVMS) are adhered to and analyze the reports, identify trends, propose corrective actionsLead and support road traffic incident investigations, develop reports for leadership, and propose effective corrective actions Work closely with elements EH&S Managers and Security Manager for a coordinated approachManage and advise the team of elements Road Safety OfficersManage, advise and guide the teams of contractors’ transportation and road safety personnelManage / facilitate all medium and high significance construction incidentsIdentify, preserve, and examine incident evidence using widely accepted forensic science principlesEnsure proper investigation and Root Cause Analysis techniques (SOLOGIC) are understood and usedDevelop and/or thoroughly review all draft incident investigation reports and complete all stages of reviewIdentify and assign corrective actions to prevent similar incidentsTrain employees, contractors, and others on incident investigations.
