      The job includeded waiting on tables, taking orders and serving behind the bar. As well as working regular day shifts, I have also worked big functions of up to 150 people serving 4 course meals and ensuring that the wine orders are correct and distributed to the correct tables. The role required me to take orders, serve food, manage a drinks reception, decorate rooms for weddings, serve both hot and cold buffets and open and close down the club.

      I am responsible for recruiting new team members, assigning projects to section writers, reviewing copy and section design and layout. This included public speaking at numerous welcome meetings of over 100 trying to persuade members to join my specific section. This element of the role has really improved both my presenting and public speaking skills. I am responsible for organising and holding weekly meetings with writers, delegating topics and encouraging people to write on their individual tastes to accommodate all aspects of the genre. Furthermore, I oversee and deliver content being published online regularly to a website which receives over 20,000 unique visitors every month and in our print publication which reaches 1,500 students fortnightly across campus. This role has seen me develop outstanding time management skills as I am balancing this role alongside being a social secretary and my degree.
