  My current role involves working closely with the Executive Office and Director, Stakeholder Engagement, Communication and International Relations, to play a crucial role in positioning and enhancing the visibility of the FSC's work amongst national, regional and international stakeholders.I conceptualize and implement Strategic Communications initiatives and represent the FSC on the Financial Regulatory Committee (FRC) - Crisis Communications Team.Financial literacy: collaborate with stakeholders to implement FSC's flagship financial education programme (the Schools Financial Education Programme - SFEP); represent the FSC as Technical Lead in support of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (Consumer Protection Working Group).Content management: coordinate ongoing management of the corporate website; share expertise on the management of social media accounts, including advising on and conceptualizing social media campaigns. Show less Supported the Communication and International Relations Manager in managing a cohesive multi-stakeholder communication strategy that positively impacted the capacity of the Financial Services Commission (FSC) to fulfill its mandate. In this role I was responsible for providing strategic communications advice to internal stakeholders; the development of strategic communications plans; creating executive-level speaking notes and presentations; developing communications approach and content for digital media including social media, intranet and corporate website; developing and executing event plans to support divisional targets; supporting the department’s media relations, issues management and stakeholder relations efforts; and providing support for corporate-wide initiatives, programmes, special projects and communications for all technical divisions in the FSC. I have represented the FSC as a liaison for three primary international regulatory bodies in which the FSC maintains membership: the International Association of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), the International Organisation of Pensions Supervisors (IOPS) and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS).I continue to serve as a subject matter expert on the FSC’s Technical Team for the National Financial Inclusion Strategy, as well as liaison with the Technical Secretariat for Financial Inclusion - Bank of Jamaica. I also represented the FSC on the International Forum for Investor Education (IFIE)/IOSCO Caribbean Working Group and served as Coordinator of World Investor Week activities in Jamaica.I am one of two officers representing the FSC on the Financial Regulatory Committee (FRC) - Crisis Communications Team.
